 December 30, 2019

I am so grateful that we had a "White" Christmas this year. It started on the day after Thanksgiving. Instead of Black Friday we had a White Friday. We met with Anna, her parents and her other grand-parents at the Portland Temple so she could do Baptisms for the Dead. It was a wonderful experience and one that started the Holiday season off right.
We finished up our White Christmas on the Saturday after Christmas when we were joined by Douhet, Kylee & Laila, Sean & MyLiege, and Sean's parents Paul & Carol again in the Portland Temple.
I know that Heavenly Father created Families to be together forever, not until death do us part. To be able to be together forever one must be sealed for time and all eternity by one holding Priesthood authority in the House of our Lord, the Temple. We are blessed to have a Temple in our midst not very far from where we live. In that Holy House families can be sealed for time and all eternity. Heavenly Father is so loving to all His children that He has provided a way for everyone to have the opportunity to be sealed whether in this life or in the life to come.
We had the privileged of sealing 15 couples together forever. We also sealed over 30 children to their parents forever. It is so wonderful to create "forever families".
Of course we believe in agency and each of these individuals have the opportunity to accept or reject this gift we have done for them.I LOVE the Temple and the hope, joy, and blessings it provides for us. I hope you have all enjoyed your Christmas this year and remembered our Lord and Savior as it is His birth and life we celebrate.#ocwewent
