 December 12, 2020

One of the things I love about Christmas is giving and sharing with others. When our children were small most of the gifts went to them. As our family has grown with daughters-in-law and sons-in-law and lots and lots of grandchildren and now spouses to grandchildren it is hard to give big gifts to everyone.
So we have taken on a simpler approach for the family. I usually do a simple homemade or inexpensive gift for each of the grandkids. We also do a white elephant gift exchange at our annual Christmas Eve family gathering. We have a lot of fun playing a game as we see what gift we will end up with. (There is usually some trading that goes on after the game but don't tell anyone.)
So now I get to spend more time giving gifts to other important people in our lives. I usually make something simple as my list has grown over the years. This year we decided to go with an oldie but goodie that everyone loves.
