Over the years I have proven this principle time and time again. I remember times when on paper there was no way to pay our bills and to pay our tithing. But we paid our tithing first and somehow all the bills got paid and there was even money left over. Sometimes it was a miracle we could see where the Lord blessed with the extra fund we needed to pay those bills and also to pay the additional tithing. More often it was just that the "curse of oil" never ran out. We are blessed when we keep the commandments. The scriptures tell us in Malachi 3:10 is says "... and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it." I testify to the truthfulness of that promise!
