Why is obedience so hard sometimes?  Why do we allow our own pride and selfishness get in the way of truly giving ourselves to Him?  Since all things really belong to Him already, the only thing we can truly give Him is our will.  Our willingness to always obey.  When we do that our lives are so much better.  Our problems don't necessarily go away, but our ability to get through them is so much easier when we turn ourselves and our will over to Him who has given everything to us through His ultimate sacrifice and His great love for us.  Surely we can love Him back by being obedient to Him in all things.  I know I'm going to try to be better!
