 December 20, 2020

As we finished our study of the Book of Mormon in our Come Follow Me video conference call today the Spirit was so strong. We talked about Moroni 10. There is so much in that little chapter. We have the wonderful promise Moroni gives to all those who will read the Book Of Mormon so they can know for themselves if the book is true or not. I have followed Moroni's admonition to pray to Heavenly Father to know and I KNOW it is true. I would invite each of you to find out for yourself.
The chapter also talks about the gifts that have been given to each of us. Some to one and others to another. Everyone has been give a gift from God. What do we do with the gifts we have been given? Do we use them as they have been intended or do we ignore them or put them under a bushel? I hope you will take time to identify some of the wonderful gifts and talents you have been given.
And finally we are admonished to come unto Christ and be perfected in Him. We are to deny ourselves of all ungodliness and if we do so and love God with our our might, mind, and strength, then through the grace of God we may be perfect in Christ. What a powerful blessing that is!
The best part of our lesson today was when we got to bear testimony to our grandchildren about the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It was one of the sweetest experiences I have ever had.
I want you all to know that I know that Jesus is the Christ, our Lord and our Redeemer. I know that through His Atonement we can saved and cleaned from our sins. I know that through the sealing power of the Priesthood that is authorized in the Holy Temples of the Lord we can be sealed together as families for time and all eternity. Death will NOT separate us. I know we have a living prophet of God who leads and guides us today under the direction of the Lord. We have seen this all through this pandemic as he put into place the exact things we needed to not only function but to thrive and grow stronger in our faith even though we could not meet together in Church. I believe in Miracles!
