The Redwoods

The final day of our trip was spent in the car once again. We did manage to get out a few times and enjoy the wonders of the world as we trekked through parts of the Redwood Forest. This was one of the oldest trees in the forest being over 1500 years old. We couldn't even see the top of the tree because of all the branches from other trees. There was actually another tree growing right out of the side of the trunk.
I loved how the trees would kind of split their trunks so that it looked like two trees were growing. Sometimes there was more than one tree growing so closely together they looked like one, but you could see three separate trunks. Other times it started as one trunk and then split into two or more branches that for all purposes were separate trees.

This is one of those trees that started as one and then split.

All the kids, especially Griffyn, were happy to get out and walk around in a wet green area.  It felt more like home.

The rest of the trip was uneventful, except for that incident at Rice Hill where we were forced to eat Ice Cream.  It's Tradition!

There is NO PLACE LIKE HOME!

Temple Wedding

Today was the culmination of our trip to California. This was the driving force that gave us a reason to come. Since we were going to be here for the wedding, we decided we might as well go to Disneyland.

Anyway, today my nephew, Scott Locken married Tristin at the Newport Beach Temple for Time and All Eternity! Somehow we got messed up on the time of the sealing. Both Steve and I heard Kris tell us on Sunday night that the sealing was going to be at 10:30 on Wednesday morning so, we were at the Temple at 10 to be 1/2 hour early. Turns out the sealing was at 10 and we almost missed it. They had already closed the doors, but then the Matron found out we were family and said she was sure President Monson would approve if she opened the door to let us in.  So we were able to attend the sealing after all.

After the sealing, Scotty and Tristin looked in the double mirrors and the sealer talked about all their ancestors. He said some were probably there to share in their day. I felt my mom and dad there. I think they were finally able to "participate" in a family temple sealing. We had them sealed together over a year ago.

After the Temple we got to attend a big family luncheon for the wedding party. We had a lot of fun visiting with family and eating the delicious lunch. Laila got to meet her cousin Layla, daughter of Brian and Wendy Locken. She also met her older cousin Katie, also Brian's daughter. Both Laila's hit it off great and spent as much time together as they could.

After the lunch we went to the beach so the girls could play in the water and dig for sea shells. They got some real beauties. Sorry, no pictures. We left the camera in the car.

We still had a couple hours before the reception so the girls and I went in the hot tub at the motel. Boy, that felt so wonderful. My poor body was pretty stiff and sore from all the walking at Disneyland. The high heals didn't help much today either.

The reception was lots of fun, too. Steve and I even danced a few times. :-)

Well, we are heading to the Redwoods tomorrow. Good night!

Disneyland

On Monday and Tuesday, Cousin Tim and a couple of his friends got us into Disneyland. He works at the Blue Bayou Restaurant in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. The weather was perfect even though they predicted rain. The first ride we went on was Pirates of the Caribbean. Kinzley and Audrey didn't like it, but the rest of us loved it. We stayed together most of Monday and went on lots of rides that all the kids could do. Some rides were Autopia, It's a Small World, Carousel, and Haunted Mansion.

Then we split up and Douhet and Kylee took Laila and Alyson on Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain while Grandma and Grandpa took the younger kids on Dumbo, Storybook Boat and the Circus Train. It being Thanksgiving week there were LOTS of people there. I'm not sure I have ever seen it so crowded. We used the Fast Pass whenever we could, but still found ourselves standing in long lines. We got a Fast Pass in the afternoon for Indiana Jones and our time was set to 10 PM. Those pases are sure nice, because you can jump toward the front of the line when your time comes up. It was pretty cool. We took turns doing that ride because we wanted to go on it, too and someone had to sit out with the little ones. We got to watch the Fantasmic Water and Light show while Douhet and Kylee went on the ride.

Tuesday found us thereonce again. We ended up splitting up almost from the beginning. Once again Douhet and Kylee took the big girls and Grandma and Grandpa kept the little ones. We had fun visiting the Princess Fantasy Faire and listening to sleeping beauty tell her story. We all repeated several of the same rides we did on Monday. We also got to watch the fantastic Disneyland Christmas Parade. What an awesome event. Even Griffyn loved that!

When the days ended I could hardly walk. Needless to say we slept very well.

California vacation 2010

We started our trip on Saturday around 3pm. This was a surprise for Douhet's kids. We met them at a rest stop just past Salem to tell them where we were going.
Douhet gave each girl a map so they could track their progress. We planned on driving through the night and arriving in Huntington Beach on Sunday morning, but Mother Nature had other ideas. Actually the roads seemed just fine; however, they closed the roads when we got to Yreka so we had to find a motel for the night. We stopped about midnight and tried got on the road again about 7 am. Needless to say that put a damper on our plans for dinner with the family on Sunday. We finally got to Uncle Kris's house by 7:30 pm. It was fun to see everyone, well almost everyone. Douhet and Kylee stayed at the motel, because the kids were spent from being in the car all that time. Steve and I were exhausted so we only stayed about an hour. It was still a great visit.

We had arrived.

Seminary

I am Loving it!  I am also tired; because, I haven't quite got the hang of getting to bed EARLIER yet.  I have a GREAT group of kids and we have wonderful discussions.

This year we are studying Doctrine and Covenants and Church History.  I am so glad we went on the Church History tour a few years ago.  It has truly helped me with my testimony of the Doctrine and Covenants and the mission of Joseph Smith.

One of the things I love about teaching is how much more I learn.  I have been in a spiritual vacuum for a few years now, because I have not been studying like I should.  I am now absorbing everything like a sponge.

I am also amazed at how strong the spirit is in our classroom.  I know the Spirit is truly the one teaching the class.  So many times things come to my mind during class that I share that is exactly what they need to hear.  I don't always think of those things when I prepare so I know the Spirit is directing the lessons.

Have I said how much I LOVE seminary?

Things I Am Grateful For

I love living in this time and dispensation when we enjoy so many modern conveniences.  I've always said I would never have survived pioneer days and I firmly believe that.  We have been in "limbo" for a few months while we moved from our old house into our new one.  I can't even begin to compare our "limbo" to what the pioneers had to go through, but I can better appreciate so many things I have taken for granted for so many years.
  • I am grateful for my wonderful bed.  Although we had great accommodations at our interim "home" it was very nice to once again have our own bed.  It is a Temperpedic mattress and I love my bed!
  • I am grateful for running water.  We don't have to go to a stream or well or other water source and haul water to our house.  All we have to do is turn a little nob and we get running water.  And it is more than just running water, it is hot and cold.  We don't have to heat our water on the stove before we do the dishes.  We don't have to take a cold bath in the river.  Isn't modern plumbing wonderful?
  • I am grateful for a kitchen sink.  We were without a kitchen for about two weeks after we moved in.  We were able to function OK because we had a microwave oven and ate frozen dinners a lot.  We also did our dishes in the bathroom sink.  It is so wonderful now to have a fully functional kitchen and a big kitchen sink.  I love having a working kitchen.
  • I am grageful for electricity.  Isn't it wonderful to be able to turn on a switch and get lights or heat or cool or music or TV or any number of things we enjoy that use electricity.
  • I am grateful to be close to grandchildren.  We have been very lucky to have all our grandchildren fairly close.  We are able to see them all on a regular basis.  It has been very fun to now have 5 of them right on the same property.  What grandma would pass up hugs from adorable kids everyday?  Alyson has been very helpful.  She comes over everyday and asks what she can do to help.  She has helped lug boxes from our storage unit to the house so we can get unpacked.  She helps Grandpa with any project he is working on.  All the girls have been willing to help us with whatever we need.  In turn they love to play on the wii where there isn't any work to do.
  • I'm grateful for adorable little puppies.  They are beginning to play and are so cute!
  • I am also very grateful for the beautiful weather we have had recently.   It is so nice to sit outside in the backyard and enjoy our dinner.  We have had several bar-b-ques and enjoyed visiting and just being together.
Life is good and I'm glad I live in this beautiful place and time.

Tender Mercies

Our adventure has begun.  We have been moving pickup loads of boxes for a couple of weeks.  We basically had only our funiture and a few more last minute boxes left.  We had some wonderful help show up on Saturday morning to help us load the U-Haul truck we got.  The hourly weather report showed rain every hour all day long for Saturday.  We figured we would be soaked by the end of a miserable day.

We experienced the tender mercies of a loving Heavenly Father.  There was no rain while we loaded the truck.  We experienced some rain driving to our new home, but then it stopped again when we unloaded the truck.  We we finished unloading the U-Haul and another pickup load  when the heavens opened up and it just dumped buckets down.  I think it rained hard the rest of the day.  All of our belongings remained dry.

We experienced those same tender mercies everytime we had loads to take.  We took two pickup loads over on Friday and again managed to load and unload without any rain even though it rained nearly all day long.

I am grateful for the Tender Mercies of the Lord!

New Adventure

We are on the verge of starting a new adventure in our life.  In just a few short weeks we will be moving to a very rural area.  I've been a "city" girl my whole life.  I've always wanted to give rural life a try and never imagined I would embark upon it in my twilight years, but that is exactly what is happening.

When I joined the Church nearly 39 years ago I said I wanted my own sacred grove.  When we moved here over 20 years ago I thought I might actually have my spot.  We looked at property a few times, but it never quite worked out.  I had given up on my sacred grove when we moved the last time thinking we would remain in our city house until the kids had to put us in a home.

Well, just before Christmas last year, our oldest son and his wife said we should sell our house and move out to their property with them so we could help him build the 2nd stage of their house.  He then told us that the third stage was separate quarters for us.  He said since he was the oldest he always planned on taking care of us in our twilight years.  We were very touched by that.  As we discussed the proposal we realized that the time is right to do so now, while we are still healthy enough to help build the house.  So we listed our house and figured it would take forever because of the bad housing market.  Needless to say we got an offer and everything is proceeding nicely.  It all happened much faster than we thought and we need to be out in three weeks.

They live on 5 acres in a beautiful wooded area.  One of the first things I realized is I am finally going to have my sacred grove.  We are very excited to be with our son and his wonderful wife and grandchildren too.  We feel strongly about becoming as self sufficient as possible.

This will be a grand adventure!

Alyxrandria Brynn is here!!!

Our newest granddaughter has arrived nearly a week early. Alyxrandia Brynn (or Alyx for short) arrived yesterday after a long day of labor and delivery at 7 PM on the dot. She weighs 7lb 6oz and is 18 inches long. She has lots of dark hair.

Daddy got to help deliver her and earned the name of Doctor Sean by the end of the day. She is the beautiful baby of Sean and MyLiege and rounds out their family with 2 boys and 2 girls. She joins Djeryd, Erik and Anna.

We couldn't be happier. This makes number 16 for us!

Anticipating Alyx

We are all anxiously awaiting the arrival of our newest grandchild. Alyxendria is due one week from today, but she may be as anxious as we are. MyLiege has been having some pretty good contractions for the last few days. They lasted several hours today before they finally slowed down.

I met the Young Women at the nursery last night for a service project of cleaning the nursery toys. One of the leaders is a new mother. Little Brooklyn is a little over three months old. I got to hold her for a while. It made me very anxious for Alyx to arrive.

Alyx will be number 16 for our little clan. I never imagined how much fun grand children could be. I think I am a much better grandma than I ever was a mother. Thank goodness we can continue to improve in our life.

I love my family!!!!

1 month of Curves

Today marked my forth straight week working out at Curves. I have already felt positive results. My weight hasn't exactly gone down, but they tell me that is normal as I build muscle since muscle weighs more than fat. The two things I have noticed most is my clothes are beginning to feel more comfortable and I have more energy.

I've actually been going during lunch, because I sometimes have activities after work and I don't want to cut my exercise short or risk skipping it all together. Of course going at lunch has its own set of problems. I started coming into work at least 1/2 hour earlier because my lunch time is now an hour and I used to only get 1/2 hour. It is easy to get up earlier since the sun is coming up earl er now. Hopefully I'll be able to keep it up when winter comes again.

They have a little "Smart Key" that you put into each piece of equipment and it tracks your workout. Then you can plug it into their computer and view the results of your last 10 workouts. It shows things like how many calories you burn, what spots on your body need more work, how well you do on each piece of equipment, etc. My results show that I've been progressing everyday.

Another feature of the "Smart Key" is it increases your "goals" as you progress. You get so many points as you workout. It increases the number of points you should get so it challenges you to do more streneous workouts. There is a little pad on each piece of equpment that shows how many reps you do and the energy level you are exerting. Some even calculate your heart rate. When you first start out it doesn't require a huge amount of energy to get the point credits. As you progress it starts requiring more energy go get credit. That way it increases your workout as you progress. Its really pretty cool.

The Toyshop

We just got back from a wonderful ballet that Madison and Brooklyn were in. They did a fantastic job and looked adorable! Grandpa got to help out too.

Madison is a Cute Kewpie Doll and Brooklyn is a Little Baby Doll.

I think they stole the show and I know the Kewpie dolls and the Baby dolls got the most applause.

As you can see it is a very large cast. They did a wonderful and professional job.

Friends

I think I have been somewhat of a loner most of my life. As a young girl with only brothers to hang out with, I never had a best girlfriend. In junior high and high school the girls didn't like me very well because I got along with the boys better than I did the girls.

When I joined the Church I married my best friend. I was also greatful to finally have a sisterhood that I never knew as a child. I have had many good friends in the Church, but we moved around so much in our marriage that I guess I never completely bonded with anyone.

Thankfully we had family. We used to tell our kids that they were each other's best friends. They are also our best friends. I love being with my family and am so lucky and grateful that all of our children live close by so we can visit often. Now I get to be best friends with my grandchildren too.

We have been in this area longer than we have been anywhere and it is nice to have so many other friends, too. I don't get to hang with them very often, because we are all busy with our jobs and families and church and lives, but we do get together once in awhile for a movie night or game night.

I am also grateful for blogs, because through them I can bond with my family and friends. I have a wonderful friend who blogs almost daily. She is so positive and uplifting all the time. She finds joy in everything. She takes lots of great photos and posts them on her blog too. She imspires me to be better. I want to look at life the way she does. I want to see the flowers and sunshine even when things aren't going very well around me. She makes me smile. She gives me hope. She probably doesn't even realize what a great friend she is to me.

I thank my Heavenly Father for friends and family!

Happy Birthday, MyLiege Elite

I guess I shouldn't say how long ago it has been, but suffice it to say a number of years ago on this day in Ogden, Utah a beautiful dark haired baby girl was born. She was tiny and red and gorgeous with lots of black hair. I couldn't believe how black her eyes were. She looked so different from her two brothers who were born big and pink and bald.

We named her MyLiege Elite because she is an elite and royal princess. She lived up to her name. She was the little princess in our family and everyone was thrilled to finally have a little girl. She melted her dad's heart. He went from being a strict disciplinary marine to a soft teddy bear when it came to his little girl. She had her grandpa wrapped around her little finger. He would do anything for her and she would do anything for him. She first crawled and walked and even rode her bike for the first time with Grandpa.

MyLiege is a remarkable young woman. She amazes me with how accomplished she is. She writes, she acts (in her younger days), she directs (also in her younger days), she is a seamstress, a great cook, a wonderful leader, a fantastic Auntie, a creative mother and of course a very loving wife. I have been in awe of her for many years. Every parent wants their child to surpass them and MyLiege has certainly done that.

Right now she is awaiting the birth of her fourth child. She is more than ready, but still has about 4 weeks to go. As I reflect on her birth and the tremendous joy she has brought to my life I wish her a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY and know she will find as much joy in her children as I have in mine.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MYLIEGE!!

Exercise

I'm not one who likes to exercise. I have too many aches and pains and they seem to only get worse when I exercise. I'm basically a lazy person.

However, I know I need to do something; because, I'm out of control. I have several friends that belong to Curves, a fitness center designed specifically for women. I've proved I can't seem to diet and exercise on my own so I finally decided I needed to get help. There is a Curves on my way home from work so I decided to give it a try. They gave me a FREE week to try it out.
I stopped in after work last Monday. They have 16 different hydraulic pieces of equipment that work various parts of your body. I expected to really hurt on Tuesday, but it didn't happen. They place the equipment in a circle (or rectangle depending on the room) around the room and have little resting pads between each equipment. You spend a total of 30 seconds on each piece of equipment and then move to the resting pad for 30 seconds and then the next piece of equipment. You go around the room twice and then spend about 5 minutes stretching to end your 30 minute workout. It is amazing how fast it goes. They play upbeat music and have a prompt that tells you when to change stations. Each station works a different muscle or body part. Because you change so often you don't get really tired or stress any muscle. You get your heart rate up for a good cardio workout and the hydraulics give you the resistance for a good strength workout too. I actually felt rejuvinated after my workouts. I went everyday last week and decided to join the program. I'm very excited.

It is also fun. There are other ladies working out with you and the conversation is fun and entertaining. You quickly become friends. By the end of the week the regulars were greeting me by name. They have a good support system that helps keep you motivated. I may just make this work this time. I'll keep you posted on my progress.

Empty Nesters Family Home Evening

We attended our first Empty Nesters Family Home Evening in our new ward. It was fun to see so many friendly faces we already new. We also met a few new faces. We dearly missed our old group. When they first announced FHE they put it on the first week and I thought we would be able to still attend our old group. Two weeks ago they switched it to the second week. Since we are trying to become a part of our new ward we felt we needed to attend.

Our group is made up of three different Empty Nesters groups. It appears the other two groups only did putluck dinners each month and that seems to be the way they want to go again. I enjoyed the potluck and we had a lot of fun going around the room learning a little about everyone, but I do hope we will have some lessons too. I LOVED our gospel discussions in our last group. We don't seem to have as many gospel discussions in our home now that all the kids are gone. We used have lots of teaching moments so the gospel was talked about alot. We haven't found our secret to gospel discussion since then. I'm open to suggestions.

I thought since I'm in the nursery we could have a weekly discussion on the Sunday School lesson that I miss each week. Steve always says it's really good, but can't seem to remember enough specifics to engage in a good discussion. I suppose I really should read the lesson too, then I can ask the questions in the lesson and maybe he can remember to share some of the answers that were given. We talk ABOUT having gospel discussions all the time, but we never seem to get around to actually talking about the gospel. How sad is that.

Back to FHE. We voluntered to have it at our house next month. Where am I going to set up enough tables to feed 25 to 30 people? They said they used to do theme meals. What theme should we do? I want to have a lesson too. Are they going to rebel at that? I'm a little nervous about this. Oh well, if they don't like it then I guess they won't have it at our house again.

Arizona Woman's Message to America's Leaders

The following letter read on Glenn Beck's show, is rapidly circulating around the country. Americans everywhere identify with this 53-year-old woman. She has given us a voice.

GLENN BECK: I got a letter from a woman in Arizona. She writes an open letter to our nation's leadership:

I am a home grown American citizen, 53, registered Democrat all my life. Before the last presidential election I registered as a Republican because I no longer felt the Democratic Party represents my views or works to pursue issues important to me. Now I no longer feel the Republican Party represents my views or works to pursue issues important to me. The fact is I no longer feel any political party or representative in Washington represents my views or works to pursue the issues important to me. Instead, we are burdened with Congressional Dukes and Duchesses who think they know better than the citizens they are supposed to represent.

There must be someone. Please tell me who you are. Please stand up and tell me that you are there and that you're willing to fight for our Constitution as it was written. Please stand up now. You might ask yourself what my views and issues are that I would feel so horribly disenfranchised by both major political parties. What kind of nut-job am I? Well, these briefly are the views and issues for which I seek representation: One, illegal immigration. I want you to stop coddling illegal immigrants and secure our borders. Close the underground tunnels. Stop the violence and the trafficking in drugs and people. No amnesty, not again. Been there, done that, no resolution. P.S., I'm not a racist. This is not to be confused with legal immigration. Two, the STIMULUS bill. I want it repealed and I want no further funding supplied to it. We told you no, but you did it anyway. I want the remaining unfunded 95% repealed. Freeze, repeal.Three: Czars. I want the circumvention of our constitutional checks and balances stopped immediately. Fire the czars. No more czars. Government officials answer to the process, not to the president. Stop trampling on our Constitution, and honor it.Four, cap and trade. The debate on global warming is not over. There are many conflicting opinions and it is too soon for this radical legislation. Quit throwing our nation into politically-correct quicksand.Five, universal healthcare. I will not be rushed into another expensive decision that will burden me, my children and grandchildren. Don't you dare try to pass this in the middle of the night without even reading it. Slow down! Fix only what is broken -- we have the best health care system in the world -- and test any new program in one or two states first.Six, growing government control. I want states rights and sovereignty fully restored. I want less government in my life, not more. More is not better! Shrink it down. Mind your own business. You have enough to take care of with your real [Constitutional] obligations. Why don't you start there?Seven, ACORN. I do not want ACORN and its affiliates in charge of our 2010 census. I want them investigated. I also do not want mandatory escrow fees contributed to them every time on every real estate deal that closes -- how did they pull that one off? Stop the funding to ACORN and its affiliates pending impartial audits and investigations. I do not trust them with taking the census with our taxpayer money. I don't trust them with any of our taxpayer money. Face up to the allegations against them and get it resolved before taxpayers get any more involved with them. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, hello. Stop protecting your political buddies. You work for us, the people. Investigate.Eight, redistribution of wealth. No, no, no. I work for my money. It is mine. I have always worked for people with more money than I have because they gave me jobs -- and that is the only redistribution of wealth that I will support. I never got a job from a poor person! Why do you want me to hate my employers? And what do you have against shareholders making a profit?Nine, charitable contributions. Although I never got a job from a poor person, I have helped many in need. Charity belongs in our local communities, where we know our needs best and can use our local talent and our local resources. Butt out, please. We want to do it ourselves.Ten, corporate bailouts. Knock it off. Every company must sink or swim like the rest of us. If there are hard times ahead, we'll be better off just getting into it and letting the strong survive. Quick and painful. (Have you ever ripped off a Band-Aid?) We will pull together. Great things happen in America under great hardship. Give us the chance to innovate. We cannot disappoint you more than you have disappointed us.Eleven, transparency and accountability. How about it? No, really, how about it? Let's have it. Let's say we give the buzzwords a rest and have some straight honest talk. Please stop trying to manipulate and appease me with clever wording. I am not the idiot you obviously take me for. Stop sneaking around and meeting in back rooms making deals with your friends. It will only be a prelude to your criminal investigation. Stop hiding things from me.Twelve, unprecedented quick spending. Stop it now. Take a breath. Listen to the people. Slow down and get some input from non-politicians and experts on the subject. Stop making everything an emergency. Stop speed-reading our bills into law. I am not an activist. I am not a community organizer. Nor am I a terrorist, a militant or a violent person. I am a parent and a grandparent. I work. I'm busy. I am busy, and I am tired. I thought we elected competent people to take care of the business of government so that we could work, raise our families, pay our bills, have a little recreation, complain about taxes, endure our hardships, pursue our personal goals, cut our lawn, wash our cars on the weekends and be responsible contributing members of society and teach our children to be the same all while living in the home of the free and land of the brave.I entrusted you with upholding the Constitution. I believed in the checks and balances to keep from getting far off course. What happened? You are very far off course. Do you really think I find humor in the hiring of a speed reader to unintelligently ramble all through a bill that you signed into law without knowing what it contained? I do not. It is a mockery of the responsibility I have entrusted to you. It is a slap in the face. I am not laughing at your arrogance. Why is it that I feel as if you would not trust me to make a single decision about my own life and how I would live it but you should expect that I should trust you with the debt that you have laid on all of us and our children? We did not want the TARP bill. We said no. We would repeal it if we could. I am sure that we still cannot. There is needless urgency and recklessness in all of your recent spending of our tax dollars. From my perspective, it seems that all of you have gone insane. I also know that I am far from alone in these feelings. Do you honestly feel that your current pursuits have merit to patriotic Americans? We want it to stop. We want to put the brakes on everything that is being rushed by us and forced upon us. We want our voice back. You have forced us to put our lives on hold to straighten out the mess that you are making. We will have to give up our vacations, our time spent with our children, any relaxation time we may have had and money we cannot afford to spend on bringing our concerns to Washington . Our president often knows all the right buzzwords like unsustainable. Well, no kidding. How many tens of thousands of dollars did the focus group cost to come up with that word? We don't want your overpriced words. Stop treating us like we're morons. We want all of you to stop focusing on your reelection and do the job we want done, not the job you want done or the job your party wants done. You work for us and at this rate I guarantee you not for long because we are coming. We will be heard and we will be represented. You think we're so busy with our lives that we will never come for you? We are the formerly silent majority, all of us who quietly work, pay taxes, obey the law, vote, save money, keep our noses to the grindstone... and we are now looking at you.
You have awakened us, the patriotic freedom spirit so strong and so powerful that it had been sleeping too long. You have pushed us too far. Our numbers are great. They may surprise you. For every one of us who will be there, there will be hundreds more that could not come. Unlike you, we have their trust. We will represent them honestly, rest assured. They will be at the polls on voting day to usher you out of office.
We have canceled vacations. We will use our last few dollars saved. We will find the representation among us and a grassroots campaign will flourish. We didn't ask for this fight. But the gloves are coming off. We do not come in violence, but we are angry. You will represent us or you will be replaced with someone who will. There are candidates among us who will rise like a Phoenix from the ashes that you have made of our constitution.Democrat, Republican, Independent, Libertarian. Understand this. We don't care. Political parties are meaningless to us Patriotic Americans are willing to do right by us and our Constitution, and that is all that matters to us now. We are going to fire all of you who abuse power and seek more. It is not your power. It is ours and we want it back. We entrusted you with it and you abused it. You are dishonorable. You are dishonest. As Americans we are ashamed of you. You have brought shame to us. If you are not representing the wants and needs of your constituency loudly and consistently, in spite of the objections of your party, you will be fired. Did you hear? We no longer care about your political parties. You need to be loyal to us, not to them... Because we will get you fired and they will not save you.

If you do or can represent me, my issues, my views, please stand up. Make your identity known. You need to make some noise about it. Speak up. I need to know who you are.. If you do not speak up, you will be herded out with the rest of the sheep and we will replace the whole congress if need be one by one. We are coming. Are we coming for you? Who do you represent? What do you represent? Listen. Because we are coming.
We the people are coming.
